so as you can see i am very late on posting our halloween fun post and now it has been nearly a month since that! boy am i behind! A LOT has happened since my last post. Let me explain… I wrote the halloween post that night! I PROMISE and had every intention on posting it but i had a few more things i wanted to add so i clicked save and said to myself that i would finish it on Sunday after church. I got up that morning RUNNING! as i am sure all of you do because it just seems like Sundays are hard to get up, get dressed, figure out whats for lunch (which i sometimes don’t get to), get Haven dressed and get OUT OF THE DOOR! That morning had been hectic. Sometime during all of that i decided that i need to boil Haven’s bottle nipples and i left them there while i put on my makeup. BIG MISTAKE! as i got ready i completely forgot about the bottles and off to church i went. I never even thought about them one more time until… I got out of the car and i heard a beeping noise. i thought to myself, “whats that noise… that Stupid smoke alarm, OH MY GOSH>>>>>… I could not get in the house quick enough. When i got in poor Georgia was in the corner, shaking and ducked down! i felt AWFUL. needless to say we were out of our house for two weeks. I went to my mama’s for a week and then we stayed at the Cottles for a week. What sweet family and friends we have! Franks parents, GG and Pops, came over the next weekend to help paint and figure out what to do and Allison Barr and Tammy Forbus helped organize some MAJOR help from LaGrange (what a blessing it is to be here with such precious people!) and little did we know Beth Smythe was getting together an email to send out to all of our church organizing a “Stock our pantry” present. What a sweet surprise. Needless to say, if anyone needs elbow macaroni… i have it! my mama jokingly said she was coming to my house during the next depression! On top of all of the love, support and acts of kindness our precious church family and family and friends showed us, our incredible college kids did most of the painting in our house and IT LOOKS GREAT! Brent Addison, a professional painter/ perfectionist/ contemp. worship pastor/college student, was the ring leader. He made sure that Matt and Amelia, Melissa, and Catherine did everything correctly! they had to paint the fire place Three times! i thinks it because he felt guilty about spilling wax all over it the night before!
(that’s too long of a story)
anyway, things are somewhat back to normal. we don’t have living room furniture yet, so if you come over please bring your lawn chair and be prepared to eat mac and cheese- hold the cheese:)
the following are pics of Haven’s new room- and decorated for CHRISTMAS! hope you enjoy!

Haven and I were playing in her room while Frank watched HOURS of football on Saturday. Here is what we came up with…
